While we recently covered a report claiming producers are unhappy with The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s 10th season so far, it has now come to light that there are two new women who have been tapped to join the cast. These reports are from Rumor Fix and Radar Online. Who are these women and why would Bravo be interested in them?

The first of the women is Katie Chadwick Hamilton:

She is married to baseball player Josh Hamilton.

The second wife is Meghan King Edmonds:

Meghan is married to baseball player Jim Edmonds.

A source tells Radar Online that there are specific reasons Bravo was interested in Meghan. They claim, “Meghan was present, and she was a bit flirtatious with Shannon Beador‘s husband, David” during Heather Dubrow‘s Western party last season,  “which did not please Shannon one bit.”

When probed to see if this was why Bravo may be interested in her, the source revealed, “Absolutely!” so we can definitely expect some drama on that front.

In addition, a source detailed to Radar how Katie’s family has a “rocky past” that may “come to light before the show even airs.” While this sounds scandalous, it also sounds like perfect Housewife material!

According to the source, though, the new women are “fitting in with the majority of the women” and “seem like great additions to the cast.”

We are definitely excited!

The new season will also feature RHOC alum Jeana Keough, as we previously reported.
